KGLS Community Service Initiatives
Mission Statement
As a business, we believe it is essential to give back to the community. That is why we decided to start KGLS Community Service Initiatives. We tackle both small and large projects in Harvard through the work of our volunteers. We work to uphold and maintain the natural beauty of our town.
Harvard Town Pond
Over the 2020 Summer, we have been volunteering at the Harvard Town Pond. Harvard is home to the beautiful Bare Hill Pond. This pond is the epicenter of the Harvard community over the summer, however attempting to maintain the balance between natural wildlife and manicured landscaping often leaves the Pond wildly overgrown. That is why we decided to volunteer our time and expertise to create functional landscaping that still retained the wildness at the heart of Harvard.
